로스쿨 준비 위해… 해당 대학 반발 거셀 듯

- 2009년 3월 법학전문대학원(로스쿨) 출범을 앞두고 서울대가 거물급 로펌 변호사와 현직 판·검사, 헌법재판소 연구관, 다른 대학 법대교수 등 15명을 대거 특별채용하기로 했다. 교수가 현재 44명인 서울법대가 그동안 교수 인원을 1~2명씩 특채한 적은 있었지만, 이번처럼 15명이나 되는 교수를 대거 특채하기는 처음이다.
서울대는 30일 대학 본부에서 법대교수 임용 후보자 15명에 대한 인사위원회를 개최한다. 서울대 호문혁 법대 학장은 “분야별로 1~3명의 법률 전문가들을 압축했으며, 특별한 결격사유가 없는 한 후보자 전원을 채용할 방침”이라고 말했다.
15명에는 법원·검찰·로펌·헌법재판소의 실무형 전문가 7명과 함께 경희대·서강대·연세대·이대·한양대·홍익대 등의 교수 8명까지 포함돼 있다. 특히 타(他)대학 교수들의 경우 해당 대학의 반발과 대학 간 ‘로스쿨 교수 영입 경쟁’에 불을 붙일 것으로 예상된다.
로펌 출신으로는 M&A와 금융·증권 전문가인 김&장의 신희택·박준 변호사가 포함됐다. 신·박 변호사는 본지가 국내 20대 로펌 대표들을 상대로 조사한 ‘이 시대 최고 변호사’로도 뽑혔다. 또 세법 전문가인 법무법인 율촌의 윤지현 변호사가 포함됐다. 또 재조(在曹)에서는 대법원 재판연구관인 이상원(형사법 전문) 부장판사와 지방법원 부장판사 1명, 대검 검찰연구관인 이효원(통일관계법 전문) 부장검사, 헌법재판소의 전종익(헌법 전문) 헌법연구관이 선정됐다.
