나는 왜 지금 이 길을 가려고 하는가..
그리고 나는 왜 지금 이 길을 가고 있는가..
지금 상황에서 한번쯤 심각하게 고민해보지 않을 수 없다..
뽀삐를 잃어버렸다고는 하나,
그만한 사연 없는 사람 없고, 부모님이 돌아가셔도 시험을 치뤘다는 사람도 있는데,
근본적인 이유는 나 자신에게 있는 것이다.
작년과 마찬가지로 두려움 때문에 또다시 나 자신에게 변명거리를 제공하면서,
또 뒤로 숨어버리고 있지는 않은가..
그만큼의 열정은 남아있는가..
이런 생활이 계속된다면, 차라리 다음 학기에 복학해서, 영어 공부하고 취업하는게 훨씬 더 나은 길일테다..
형법 선생님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다..
"여러분들은 아직 젊기 때문에, 젊은 날 청춘의 소중함을 아직 잘 모릅니다.
하지만 나중에 시간이 흐르면, 젊은 날 청춘의 하루는 1억과도 바꾸지 않을 정도로 소중한 시간입니다.
여러분은 그 소중한 시간 중 몇년을 쏟아붓고 있는 것입니다.
후회없이 공부하십시오.."
맞다..
내년에 또다시 후회하기 싫다면, 당장 오늘부터 정신차리고 공부하자..
주변 상황이 어찌되었든, 부모님과의 관계가 어떻게 되었든,
나는 묵묵히 공부하면 그만인 것이다..
이기적이라고 해도 어쩔 수 없다..
삶을 살아가는데 모든 사람과 모든 것들을 만족시킬 수는 없는 일이니까..
