창문 틈에 갇힌 쥐를 잡기는커녕, 따뜻하게 감싸주는 ‘천사 고양이’가 해외 네티즌들 사이에서 화제다.
최근 인터넷에서 핫이슈로 떠오르고 있는 ‘쥐와 사귀는 천사 고양이’는 19일 영국 메일온선데이 등의 언론에도 소개되었는데, 이 고양이는 한동안 생쥐를 응시하더니, 먹잇감인 생쥐를 등위에 태우는 것은 물론, 나중에는 쥐를 따뜻하게 품에 안는 모습을 보여주고 있다.
해외 인터넷 사이트 등에서는 문제의 고양이를 ‘천하에 쓸모 없는 고양이’로 부르고 있는데, 대다수 네티즌들은 쓸모 없기는 해도 천사 같은 심성을 가지고 있다면서 고양이의 따뜻한 마음에 갈채(?)를 보내고 있는 중.
쓸모 없는 고양이, 혹은 최고의 천사 고양이로 극과 극의 반응을 불러 일으키고 있는 고양이 사진은 캐나다 토론토에 살고 있는 인터넷 예술가 버트 크리스텐슨이 처음 소개한 이후 인터넷을 통해 퍼지면서 화제를 유발하고 있다.
